LYNN SWAN FOUNDATION
PURPOSE
The purpose of the foundation is to stabilize communities by providing services and outside resources for family growth and improvement through mentorship. Services and activities provided will minimize basic needs among families and assist them by alleviating immediate strains. The Lynn Swan Foundation will provide those needs so that families may focus on bettering themselves as well as their communities. We do this by bringing awareness to Lupus, Asthma, and Breast Cancer. We service Ferguson, Florissant, Northwoods, and St. Louis City. ACTIVITIES
Bringing Change
YOUTH SPORTS
Creating lifelong friendships while practicing sportsmanship and building camaraderie amongst the youth. Families can have their children sign up for sports all year round as well as conditioning and strength training. Sponsorship is available.
EDUCATIONAL SERVICES
Helping the community with basic computer skills, resume writing, and job readiness. As well as providing tutoring services for the youth in math and reading to help with developmentally appropriate practices.
COMMUNITY BUILDING
Reinforcing our commitment to communities by providing resources and transportation for family improvement. Providing basic needs to families so they are able to focus on what's important. Also, bringing communities together to practice safety and unity.
